Canal Pride Days

Join the C&O Canal’s official park partner, the C&O Canal Trust, this spring for the 9th Annual C&O Canal Pride Days! The Canal Pride season will run from April to May 2016, including events all along the Towpath from D.C. to Cumberland. Over the years volunteers have tackled projects to help the park, from painting signs and picnic tables to pulling weeds and repairing trails. Canal Pride Days has projects for every age and skill level—everyone is welcomed to help. Space is limited at events, so sign up early to ensure your spot. Groups, families, individuals, and businesses are all welcome and encouraged to participate.
