Interpretive Training Opportunity for Volunteers

September 15th - 10AM-12PM

The C&O Canal National Historical Park will be offering a free training at the Historic Bowles House Visitor Center in Hancock, MD.

Interpretation is a key part of communication for any park unit. The information that we share with visitors is important , but how we deliver that information is equally valuable. In this 2-hour workshop, participants will learn about the basics of an interpretation formula,how we identify the pieces of interpretation, and practice some ofthe skills in our interpretive portfolio.
